Andrew Sollinger

Andrew is Foreign Policy’s Publisher and CEO. Prior to joining FP in March 2018, he was EVP – Subscriptions at Business Insider, ran the business side of Politico’s Capital New York acquisition (now Politico New York), and was Managing Director – Americas at the Financial Times, to which he helped build and sell the digital startup Money Media (with Dan Fink!). He started his media career as a journalist at Institutional Investor and was based in New York, London and Hong Kong. He has extensive experience in management, product development, digital and subscription sales, research, and strategy. Andrew excels at hiring people much smarter than him.

From developing real-estate websites in the mid-1990’s to starting his own digital marketing agency in 2006, Matt has been at the forefront of entrepreneurship and digital marketing. After creating more than a billion dollars of revenue for his clients, he pivoted from his agency business to focus on training the next generation of digital marketers. He has since developed and delivered custom training workshops for many global brands, including Microsoft, Disney, Nationwide, Orange, HP, Proctor & Gamble, IBM, and The Prime Minister’s Office of the United Arab Emirates. Anne Holland

After moving up the ranks at B2B media ranging from The Oil Daily to Aviation Daily, as well as leading marketing teams at Jane’s and Phillips, Anne went out on her own. She successfully launched and exited five media brands including MarketingSherpa Subscription Insider, and MJBiz. Currently, she lives in Rhode Island where she founded a booming statewide arts organization What Cheer Writers Club, and an award-winning flower charity, What Cheer Flower Farm.

Andy Baker, Director & Practice Lead, B2B Information, Collingwood Advisory Previously, Andy was Managing Director of The Lawyer 2017-2021. He led the team that transformed The Lawyer into a market-leading subscription and information business, based on double-digit increases in subscriber usage, outstanding retention rates and yield increases, and new data-rich product development. Before that, Andy spent 6 years as Managing Director of HSJ, the Health Service Journal. Andy led the team that transformed HSJ from advertising to subscriptions, from print-centric to digital-only, and from declining performance to healthy growth. Andy led the sale of HSJ from Ascential plc to Wilmington plc for £19m in early 2017. Andy holds a first degree from Oxford University and an MBA from IMD, Switzerland.

Robin Crumby, Co-Founder Novatum Group, Kademy

Robin is a serial entrepreneur with hands-on experience in starting, managing and advising high-growth subscription-based businesses via non-Exec Board positions, leadership roles or investment. Based in London, Robin co-founded Melcrum in 1996, a research and training business, acquired in 2015 by NASDAQ-listed Corporate Executive Board, now part of Gartner. Since then, Robin has co-founded Novatum Group, Kademy, and is a Board Chair for TMT Finance, DataIQ, Structured Credit Investor and Tamarindo Group. Robin is a regular speaker and writer on entrepreneurship with a book on ‘Founder Exit’ in the works. He graduated from Bristol University, holds a Diploma in European Business Administration from UWE and was Entrepreneur-in-residence at Bayes Business School. Robin is the author of ‘The Hurst Chronicles’ book series, a long-distance runner, plays field hockey and enjoys tennis and messing around in boats.

Brian Cuthbert, Group Vice President, Diversified Communications

Brian Cuthbert is a Group Vice President at Diversified Communications U.S., a global media company delivering meaningful experiences and customer outcomes for its communities through events and digital products. Brian oversees Diversified Communications' Business Communities division, with responsibility for broad portfolio of conferences, tradeshows, hosted buyer events, membership and e-learning offerings. Brian is also part of the Diversified Communications U.S. leadership team. Brian joined Diversified in April 2013 through an acquisition of the Institute of Finance & Management as their Director of Sales and later became its Executive Director in 2015. There, he was responsible for the significant growth of its event portfolio and certification business. Brian has spent his career in the specialty information world and previously, he held sales and leadership roles at Greenhaven Partners and Kennedy Information – selling and leading sales teams across a wide variety of industries. Brian graduated Fordham University with a B.A. in Communication & Media Studies. Originally from New York, he now resides in Maine with his wife, two daughters, two dogs and (despite his objections) two cats.

David Foster, Chairman, Business Valuation Resources

David is the Chairman of Business Valuation Resources, the leading data, training and research provider for the global business valuation profession. Much of BVR’s growth results from responses to the revolution in information industry business processes during the last decade. In addition to BVR, Foster was the co-founder of IOMA, Inc., a management publisher he sold to the Bureau of National Affairs in 1998. He has served on the Boards and/or Executive Committees of 14 information industry companies, as well as a number of non-profits such as Copyright Clearance Center and Bates College. He was SIPA President in 1999, won SIPA’s Hall of Fame Award 2000, and is now a co-founder and executive committee member of, the open community for information industry professionals.

Dan Fink, U.S. Managing Director of FT Specialist

Dan Fink is the U.S. Managing Director of FT Specialist, the Financial Times’ specialized publishing division. With the help of over 150 staff and operations on three continents, Dan oversees the subscription, advertising, and events business related to 10 digital news services. Dan is a member of the FT’s senior management group, is the chairman of the FT’s 401k investment committee, is a member of the board of directors for Endpoints News and, and sits on the executive advisory board for MediaGrowth. Dan earned an MBA at Indiana University and was a national champion gymnast.

Greg Krehbiel

Greg's decades-long career in B2B and B2C publishing has included lengthy gigs in editorial, marketing, product development, web development, management, and operations. He's an expert at bridging the intellectual and cultural divide between technical and creative staff. Working as a consultant, Greg solves technology, strategy, operations, and process problems for publishers. His expertise includes Customer Data Platforms, acquisition and retention, e-commerce, RFPs, fulfillment, and project management.

Jennifer Schwartz

Jennifer is responsible for the overall leadership and strategic business development efforts across AI’s Industry & Infrastructure group. Key brands include Chemical Engineering, Global Connected Aircraft Summit, P3C Media, Exchange Monitor, POWER, EXPERIENCE Power, SATELLITE, OR Manager, Avionics, Defense Daily and Exchange Monitor Publications & Forums. She has full P/L responsibilities and also evaluates and helps integrate key acquisition targets in the markets she serves. Jennifer has worked at Access Intelligence since 1997 and held previous publisher positions in the defense and energy groups. Jennifer successfully integrated the LDC Forum events into AI’s portfolio in 2006, Exchange Monitor Publications & Forums in 2015 and P3C Media events in 2018. Previously, Jennifer held sales and marketing positions in the telecom and banking industries. She has a BS degree in Marketing from the distinguished Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland. Jennifer also successfully completed ABM’s B-to-B Advanced Leadership Program at Northwestern University in 2012.

She was formerly the publisher and vice president of FT Energy, a division of the Financial Times, and was also vice president and group publisher at Capitol Publications. Before that, she was an editor at Government Information Services.

Stephanie Eidelman

Stephanie is the owner and CEO of The iA Institute, a media company that creates information products, conferences, and membership groups for professionals in consumer finance. Debbie Goldfarb

Debbie recently began a new role as Training Director at Business Valuation Resources, LLC (BVR), the leading data, training, and research provider for the global business valuation profession. Debbie’s association with David Foster and Lucretia Lyons began a few decades ago at IOMA where she founded Institute Lists, an in-house list management division. She has maintained Institute Lists under BVR while working with the management team on special projects. Her current focus is growing the training division of BVR with continuing education opportunities for business valuation professionals. Debbie holds a B.A. from Rutgers University and a certificate in Organizational Consulting from The William Alanson White Institute. Debbie lives in Montclair NJ where she is an avid pickleball player and an actor with a Playback Theatre group.

Kate Ling

Kate leads the product team for E&E News, which was acquired by Politico at the end of 2020. E&E News covers energy and environmental policy for professionals. She also manages E&E News’ social media and guides its content strategy. In a previous life, she was a journalist covering energy policy and technology and had a brief stint as a communications consultant. She is a graduate of Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism and Yale University.

Lucretia Lyons

Lucretia is President of Business Valuation Resources, LLC (BVR), the leading data and research provider to the private company valuation profession. She has been with BVR since 2005. Lucretia served on the board of the Specialized Information Publishers Association (SIPA) and is now an active and appreciative member of the Renewd community. Prior to her leadership position with BVR, Lucretia worked in various marketing, operational and strategic planning capacities for companies such as Bookstream, Inc., (two technology start-ups), the Institute of Management & Administration (IOMA), The Wall Street Transcript, and Hibernia Bank (at the time of acquisition by Capital One). Lucretia holds a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College and an M.B.A. from the Carroll Graduate School of Business at Boston College.
