10:20-10:50 | Employee Retention B-to-B Publishing: Recruit, Retain and Reward Recruiting: How do we promote B to B as a viable and rewarding career? How do we find the best people? Include a panelist from a company who does this well. Retention: How do we upskill, and incentivize employees to stay at B-to-B companies and further their careers? Include a panelist from a company who does a good job training when employees join the company then continually training to fill skills gaps, etc. Reward: How do we reward the high performers through career growth opportunities, etc? Hopefully one of the two panelists can cover this part as well. Session set up: Possibly moderated by Phyllis. is confirmed. Need to find representatives from a smaller company with no HR department or HR assitance, to serve as panelist. Supporting materials: While this will touch on some HR topics, it is not intended as an HR-focused session. But some small companies (mentioned above) may want some of these resources. Tara and Rafael are willing to put together supporting materials from their publications’ HR content to serve as supplemental resources for attendees to reference later. Question for Industry Pulse survey: In one of these seminar meetings there was talk of some sort of Pulse of the Industry survey. If that happens, we would love it if a question along these lines could be included: Do you feel your company pays competitive salaries? Kirsty Devine U.S. Head of HR for the Financial Times |
