Clayton Collins is CEO of HW Media and Publisher of HousingWire. He drives the company’s strategy to empower housing leaders to make better decisions, faster. 

Since acquiring HousingWire in 2016, Clayton has led HW Media’s transformation, expanding its reach through the acquisitions of RealTrends, Reverse Mortgage Daily, Altos Research, and The Builder’s Daily. Today, HousingWire delivers market intelligence, data-driven insights, and high-impact events that inform and connect professionals across the sector.

Clayton is the Managing Partner of Riomar Capital, an entrepreneurial investment firm focused on media, data, and technology. Earlier in his career, he worked in M&A at RBC Capital Markets and served as VP of National Sales & Marketing at Citibank.

Clayton is a graduate of Elon University and earned his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He serves on the Board of Directors for Systato and MLO Force, is an advisor to Blended Sense, and is actively involved in the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Residential mPact Leadership Committee. Additionally, he is a member of YPO’s Mustang Chapter (Dallas), where he serves on the Board of Directors.
